His Majesty King Mswati III, in his capacity as Champion for Resource Mobilisation of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), received the Secretary-General of the OACPS, H.E. Moussa S. Batraki, for a high-level meeting in Eswatini on Thursday, 6 October 2025.
The meeting focused on ongoing efforts to strengthen the financial sustainability of the OACPS and to mobilise resources in support of the Organisation’s strategic priorities. Discussions underscored the importance of unity and shared responsibility among Member States in addressing financial challenges and advancing institutional reforms.
His Majesty King Mswati III reaffirmed his strong commitment to revitalising the OACPS and to fostering innovative partnerships that will enhance the Organisation’s impact in promoting sustainable development, economic resilience, youth empowerment, and digital transformation across its 79 Member States.
The Secretary-General commended His Majesty’s leadership and vision in guiding the OACPS Resource Mobilisation initiative, as mandated by Decision No. 5/CXIX/25 of the OACPS Council of Ministers. This engagement reaffirmed the shared resolve of the OACPS and its Member States to strengthen cooperation, foster solidarity, and ensure that the Organisation continues to serve as a dynamic platform for partnership and collective advancement.
